Oscar Osorto- Owner
Having grown up right here in Fort Worth, my journey in the metal recycling and hauling industry started straight out of high school. I began at the absolute bottom at a local metal recycling company, learning the ropes from the ground up. Over the next 12 years, I didn't just put in the hours—I worked my way up through the ranks to become a manager, ultimately taking charge of all non-ferrous scrap metal sales. That hands-on experience gave me a deep, technical understanding of materials, efficiency, and how to properly manage large-scale logistics.
After more than a decade in the industry, I recognized a real opportunity to make a direct difference in our community. In 2021, I founded Green Source Junk Removal with a clear mission: to bring a higher level of expertise and an eco-friendly approach to hauling. Because of my background, we don’t just blindly dump everything into a landfill. We know exactly how to sort, recycle, and salvage materials efficiently, and we prioritize donating usable items to local charities whenever possible.
When I’m not out on a job site or running the business, you can usually find me staying active. I love playing soccer, hitting the gym, playing video games, watching anime, and catching up on a good book. Family means everything to me, so spending quality time with friends and loved ones is always a priority. I also have a deep affection for the DFW area and am a massive supporter of our local sports teams—whether it's the Cowboys, Rangers, Mavericks, Stars, or FC Dallas, I'm always rooting for home.
